The girls at the DDA really thought me the importance of networking and involvement. Everyone in Downtown knows Kristis, Taylor, and jenna and no one wants to end up on kristis bad side. Their connections provide so many necessary resources vital to keep Downtown Rochester an exciting, hip, fun place for the residence and visitors to enjoy.
I expected a lot of computer work, emails, and message taking, but I really didn’t expect the extreme conformable work atmosphere and how many people just drop by the office just to say hi because the girls here have done such a great job forming relationships in the community. It's not unusual for Kristi and the girls to spend their Wednesday evening enjoying a five star meal at the Royal Parks Hotel discussing the next big thing to hit Rochester. The amount of times I've caught Kristi curling her hair and redoing her makeup in the bathroom for a fancy business conference is unreal.
